If you want us to be specific, and we can’t imagine why you wouldn’t, then one of our strengths as a specialist solutions provider is that we have built up a substantial amount of knowledge and experience on the process and issues around planning and allocation, which retailers often find adds value and helps them come to better decisions.

All of our client facing team has worked in retail at a variety of levels from planners and allocators to VP’s and Directors of Planning and Allocation.  This broad spectrum of experience enables us to provide a number of unique perspectives on designing and deploying new processes and disciplines, including:

• Strategic direction:
  • For example, the relative merits of a product-led vs stores-led approach, merchandising team organizational structures, etc.
• Hands-on advice:
  • Assessing individuals workloads, capabilities, step-by-step system advice, etc.
• Core retail principles & practice advice:
  • Helping new users understand the hows and whys of planning

All of our projects are managed and fulfilled by our own staff.  We do not outsource any of our work to anyone outside of Maple Lake.  We do not use sub-contractors or temporary staff.  We do not “offshore” any development to territories we do not operate in (Canada & UK). We will happily work with third parties upon the client’s specific request, where there can be areas of synergy.
